Overnight incidents 11/12 July 2024

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to logs on fire on a footpath at 7:30pm on Chaucer Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 7:40pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8pm on Atlantic Way, Sheffield. Firefighters from Lowedges station attended the incident. They left at 8:30pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish in a field at 10:40pm on Red House Lane, Adwick-le-Street, Doncaster. The crew came away at 12:25am.

A HGV was accidentally on fire at 11:40pm on the M1 between J33-J34, northbound. Firefighters from Parkway, Rotherham, Maltby and Elm Lane station attended the incident. Crews left the scene at 4:40am.

Firefighters from Aston station were called out to a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:20am on Flash Lane, Bramley, Rotherham. The crew came away at 1:10am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:30am on Dearfield Road, Cudworth, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 2:35am.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Adwick stations attended an accidental fire involving an outbuilding at 6:05am on Lowther Road, Wheatley, Doncaster. Crews left the scene at 8am.
