Weekend incidents 12/14 July 2024

Friday 12 July

Rivelin firefighters attended an accidental fire involving a unattended cooking 8:31pm on Burnaby Green, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:04pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 11:05pm on High Fisher Gate, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left at 11:27pm.

Saturday 13 July

Three fire crews from Parkway, Central and Elm Lane stations attended a deliberate fire involving an derelict building on Hoyle Street, Sheffield at 2:20pm. Crews left the scene at 3:23pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to a deliberate fire involving refuse on a footpath at 9:35pm on Market Square, Goldthrope. The crew left the scene at 10:16pm.

Sunday 14 July

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12:13am on St Wilfreds Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 12:49am.

Adwick firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 12:35am on The Abbes Walk, Burghwallis, Doncaster. The crew came away at 1:13am.

Two fire crews from Doncaster and Thorne stations attended a deliberate fire involving an outbuilding at 10:19am on Silver Street, Doncaster. Crews left the scene at 11:12am.

Five fire crews from Parkway, Dearne, Rotherham and Adwick stations attended a deliberate fire involving an derelict building on Vancouver Drive, Barnsley at 2:59pm.  Crews left the scene at 5:53pm.

Four crews attended an accidental fire involving plant machinery on Shepcote Lane, Sheffield at 3:09pm. Crews left the scene at 5:53pm.
