Overnight incidents 11/12 May 2023

A crew from Birley attended a motorcycle fire on a footpath near Vikinglea Road, Sheffield,  which was completely burnt out on arrival. The call was received at 6.55pm  The crew used one hose reel used to fully extinguish and dampen the fire. They had dealt with the incident by 7.25pm.

Three fire engines were called at 7.05pm to a road traffic collision on East Bank Road, Sheffield. The incident involved a car and a van. Crews extricated one man from the vehicle who was taken to hospital by paramedics. The incident had been dealt with by 8pm.

Three fire engines were called at 9.15pm to a fire involving three adjoined garages on Walpole Close, Balby, Doncaster. A hosereel was used to extinguish the fire. The incident had been dealt with by 10.07pm.

Three fire engines attended a fire in the front garden of a house on Arbourthorne Road, Sheffield after a call was received at 4.22am. On arrival crews found four square metres of clothing and rubbish well alight. The fire was extinguished with a hose reel. The incident had been dealt with by 4.44am.
