Overnight incidents – 12/13 November

Firefighters from Central were called to Bernard Street, Sheffield, at 7.27pm. Upon arrival they found some temporary plastic barriers on fire. This was dealt with by 7.45pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Edlington were called to Earlesmere Avenue, Balby, at 7.34pm. Upon arrival they found a small amount of rubbish on fire in an alleyway to the rear of some properties. A nearby fence had also caught fire. This was dealt with by 8.02pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Quarry Street, Barnsley, at 8.26pm. Upon arrival they found a car well alight. This was dealt with by 9.04pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Wellington Street, Goldthorpe, at 9.04pm. Upon arrival they found a large pile of rubbish had been set alight, at the rear of a property, with fire spreading to three wheelie bins and a rear window. This was dealt with by 9.35pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Highstone Avenue, Worsborough Common, at 10.21pm. Upon arrival they found a car well alight. This was dealt with by 11.36pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Palgrave Road, Sheffield, at 10.23pm. Upon arrival they found a large amount of bagged up rubbish well alight on a front garden. This was dealt with by 10.43pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.
