Overnight incidents 13/14 November

A stolen motorbike was set alight on Gliwice Way in Doncaster on Wednesday night, at around 9.30pm. Doncaster firefighters spent about 15 minutes tackling the blaze.

Rivelin firefighters dealt with two cars on fire on Fox Hill Road, Sheffield at around 00.40am. The fires were started deliberately and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to but out the blaze.

A three tonne skip full of household waste and building materials was torched on Springwell Lane in Balby. Doncaster firefighters were called just after 1.30am and spent about half an hour tackling the blaze.

Another skip was set alight just before 7am on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood. Rotherham firefighters responded.

A big pile of fly-tipped commercial waste was also set alight on Bawtry Road in Sheffield around 8pm. Elm Lane firefighters used hose reels to extinguish the fire.
