Doncaster firefighters dealt with a blaze involving up to 80 lorry tyres on Doncaster Road in Kirk Sandall on Thursday night at around 9pm. They spent three hours tackling the blaze and a caution was placed on the nearby railway line due to the amount of smoke in the area. It was started deliberately.

A car was set alight on Fleury Crescent in Sheffield shortly after 10pm. Central firefighters dealt with it.
