Two fire engines are parked up on an area of farm land, on a hill. The weather is dull and it appears to be in the late evening. Two firefighters can be seen in the distance, walking between the two fire engines.

Overnight incidents – 14/15 May

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Deepcar Lane, Cudworth, at 8.12pm. Upon arrival they found a 4×4 vehicle totally burnt out, with the surrounding fields alight. This was dealt with by 9.47pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Fox Street, Sheffield, at 9.46pm. Upon arrival they found the inside of a Mercedes C250 well alight at the side of the road. This was dealt with by 10.21pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rivelin were called to Livesey Street, Sheffield, at 9.54pm. Upon arrival they found several seats of fire at the Wardsend Cemetery. These were all dealt with by 11.02pm and are thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Cudworth were called to Junction Street, Barnsley, at 10.25pm. Upon arrival they found a large amount of rubbish alight to the rear of several properties. This was dealt with by 11.04pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Dearne were called to Queen Street, Thurnscoe, at 10.30pm. Upon arrival they found a fire in the engine compartment of a car parked at the side of the road. This was dealt with by 11.08pm and is thought to have started accidentally through an electrical fault.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called to Childers Street, Hyde Park, at 2.12am. Upon arrival they found one VW Passat well alight. This was dealt with by 3.13am and is thought to have started accidentally.
