Overnight incidents 14/15 September 2020

Six fire crews from Cudworth, Barnsley, Tankersley, Dearne, Parkway and South Kirby attended a fire at 7:05pm in an industrial building on Burton Road, Monk Bretton, Barnsley. The fire was an accidental fire involving machinery which had spread to the roof. The crews left at 8:20pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to rubbish and tree which had been set on fire deliberately at 7:15pm on Gipsy Lane, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

Two fire crews from Central and Rivelin stations attended a fire involving tyres and rubbish at 7:20pm on Burton Road, Sheffield. They left the scene at 8:05pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 8:20pm on Stafford Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station were called out to the incident. They came away at 8:50pm.

At 9:10pm a fire crew from Parkway station attended a deliberate fire involving rubbish and a mattress on Acres Hill Lane, Sheffield. The crew left at 9:35pm.

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Tankersley and Stocksbridge attended a deliberate fire involving an outbuilding at 9:25pm on Dodworth Green Road, Dodworth, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:35pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 9:35pm on Ferrars Road, Sheffield. A fire crew from Rotherham station were called out to the fire. They left the scene at 10:35pm.

Three fire crews from Adwick and Doncaster stations attended a flat fire at 9:35pm on North Swaithe Close, Bentley, Doncaster. The fire was an accidental fire and involved the oven. The crews left at 10:10pm.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate fence fire at 11:20pm last night on Heatherwood Close, Intake, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11:50pm.

A HGV was accidentally on fire last night at 11:50pm on the A1 at Junction 38 Northbound. Several fire crews from Adwick, Edlington, Doncaster and South Kirby attended the incident. Crews remained there for most of the night leaving at 7:25am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a fridge and rubbish on fire at 12:45am on Hartley Brook Road, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 1:10am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately on fire at 1:25am on Rother View Road, Canklow, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station attended the incident. They came away at 1:45am.
