Overnight incidents 15/16 September 2020

A fire crew from Cudworth station attended a tree on fire at 7:05pm on Kents Grove, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. firefighters left the scene at 7:15pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called out to a sofa which had been deliberately set on fire at 7:05pm on Lincoln Crescent, Cantley, Doncaster. They left the scene at 7:30pm.

At 7:45pm a fire crew from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Wensley Crescent, Cantley, Doncaster. They came away at 8:05pm.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving bushes at 8:10pm on Brinsworth Lane, Brinsworth, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:30pm.

A fire crew from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9pm on Canklow Road, Canklow, Rotherham. The crew left at 9:15pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 9:30pm on Cockhill Field Lane, Braithwell, Doncaster. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They came away at 10:05pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a garden shed on fire at 10:50pm on Kingsway, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left the scene at 12am.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 2:05am on High Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley. A fire crew from Dearne station attended the incident. They came away at 2:55am.

Four fire crews from Thorne, Doncaster and Adwick stations attended a bungalow fire at 3am on Queen Street, Thorne, Doncaster. There are no reports of any injuries. The fire is currently under investigation. Firefighters left the scene at 4:40am.

At 6:35am this morning Thorne firefighters attended a deliberate grass fire on Lock Lane, Thorne, Doncaster. They left the scene at 7:05am.
