Overnight incidents 16/17 December

Firefighters from Central station were called out to a rubbish fire on Chippingham Place, Sheffield at 9:25pm. The fire crew used a hose reel to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 9:45pm. The fire was started deliberately.

At 10:45pm Edlington fire crew attended a rubbish fire which had been started deliberately on Alexandra Road, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 11pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire this morning at 1:40am on Eyre Street in Sheffield. Two fire crews from Parkway and Rivelin stations attended. They left at 2am.

Cudworth firefighters were called to a bin fire on Station Road, Royston, Barnsley at 6:30am. They used a hose reel to extinguish it before leaving the scene at 6:50am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

At 7:15am firefighters from Dearne station attended a rubbish fire on Abdy Lane, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 7:30am. It was a deliberate fire.
