Overnight incidents 17/18 December

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:10pm on Selby Road, Askern, Doncaster. Adwick firefighters attended the incident. They left the scene at 7:40pm.

Dearne firefighters were called to a mattress which had been deliberately set on fire on Smith Bridge Lane, Hemingfield, Barnsley at 7:30pm last night. Crews left at 7:50pm.

At 8:10pm on Lang Avenue, Lundwood, Barnsley, firefighters from Cudworth station attended a shed fire which had been deliberately set on fire. Firefighters left at 8:30pm.

A 4×4 car was deliberately set on fire last night 8:10pm. Thorne station were called out to an incident on Bawtry Road, Lindholme, Doncaster.  They used a hose reel to quickly to put the fire out before leaving the scene at 8:45pm.

At 10:25pm three fire engines from Barnsley, Dearne and Tankersley were called to a fire at a domestic premise on Kings Road, Cudworth, Barnsley. Firefighters rescued a dog from the property. Luckily there were no casualties at the incident. Firefighters used a hose reel to put the fire out. A fire investigation will now take place to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters left the scene at 12:00am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 5am this morning on Persimmon Close, New Rossington, Doncaster. Doncaster station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 6am.

Two fire engines from Doncaster station were called out to a domestic premise fire at 5:10am. Luckily there were no injuries to anyone reported at the incident. The fire was around a window area of the property. An investigation is taking place to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters left the scene at 5:45am.
