Overnight incidents 16/17 October 2024

A car was accidentally on fire at 7pm on The Common, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 7:35pm.

Three fire crews from Adwick, Edlington and Dearne stations were called out to a road traffic collision involving two lorries at 12:40am on Barnsley Road, Marr, Doncaster. There were two casualties, one of which was trapped in a vehicle, firefighters extricated the casualty and left them in the care of the ambulance service. Crews left the scene at 2:20am.

Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 1:55am on Maori Avenue, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. The crew came away at 2:25am.

Firefighters from Maltby station were called out to a small fire in a playground at Coronation Park, Muglet Lane, Maltby, Rotherham at 2:30am. The crew left the scene at 2:45am.
