Overnight incidents 17/18 October 2024

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:55pm on Herdings Park, Raeburn Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley station attended the incident. They left at 8:15pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:25pm on Staveley Street, Edlington, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:50pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:10pm on Penrith Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 10:35pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a garden fire which had spread to a tree and fencing at 1:30am on Vale Avenue, Thrybergh, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 2am.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 1:55am on Mushroom Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 2:30am.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a sofa at 1:55am on Highwoods Crescent, Mexborough, Doncaster. They came away at 2:15am.

A motorbike was deliberately set on fire at 4:45am on Cecil Avenue, Warmsworth, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 5:20am.
