Overnight incidents 18/19 February 2025

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:05pm on Broom Close, Kendray, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

Four fire crews were called out to a fire in allotments at 8:20pm on Infield Lane, Sheffield. A number of outbuildings were involved. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Crews left the scene at 12:45am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:05pm on Park Grange Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rivelin station attended the incident. They left at 9:40pm.

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a wheelie bin at 9:30pm on Smithies Lane, Smithies, Barnsley. The crew came away at 10:05pm.

Three fire crews from Tankersley, Elm Lane and Penistone stations attended a one vehicle road traffic collision at 9:40pm on Wortley Road, Deepcar, Sheffield.  One casualty was extricated from the vehicle and went to hospital. Crews left the scene at 10:20pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:15pm on Kenninghall Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley station attended the incident. They left at 10:50pm.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station were called out to a deliberate fire involving a mattress in woodland at 12:20am on Firth Park Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 12:30am.

Two cars were deliberately set on fire at 3:25am on Arbourthorne Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 4:30am.
