Six fire engines were mobilised to a fire in a 12th floor flat off Deer Park Road, Sheffield after a call was received at 5.06pm. The incident was centred in the kitchen and was extinguished by a main jet and had been dealt with by 7.29pm. No one wss injured.

Two fire engines attended a fire on Pitsmoor Road involving a bus after the call was received at 10.10pm. The fire was located in the engine compartment and was extinguished using one hose reel. The incident had been dealt with by 10.32pm.
