Overnight incidents 2/3 April

Three fire crews from Birley Moor, Maltby and Parkway were called out at 7:05pm to School Close, Wales, Rotherham to reports of a flat fire. A grill had been left on accidentally and a tea towel had caught fire. Luckily no one was injured. The crews left at 7:55pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:15pm on Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew came away at 7:45pm.

Tree, scrubland and rubbish were all on fire last night at 8:30pm on Lindsay Road, Sheffield. A fire crew from Elm Lane station were called out to the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

Three fire engines from Elm Lane, Rivelin and Central stations attended an empty domestic property at 8:45pm on Musgrave Crescent, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crews came away at 10:05pm.

At 9pm last night firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Far Lane, East Dene, Rotherham. They left the scene at 9:15pm.

Two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire last night at 10:30pm on Wilthorpe Avenue, Wilthorpe, Barnsley. A fire crew from Barnsley station attended the incident. They came away at 10:55pm.

Cudworth firefighters were called out a grass fire on Grange Lane, Cundy Cross, Barnsley at 10:55pm. The fire was believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 11:45pm.

A transit van was deliberately set on fire last night at 11pm on Smallage Lane, Fence, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended. They came away at 11:35pm.
