Overnight incidents 23/24 May 2023

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grass and a tree at 7:20pm on Hunningley Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:50pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:35pm on Eldon Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. The crew came away at 8pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:20pm on Monkspring, Worsbrough Dale, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 8:55pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving gates and fencing at 8:40pm on Remington Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:05pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 12am on Cherry Brook, Eastwood, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 12:45am.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended a deliberate fire involving a tree at 12:20am on Walkley Bank Road, Sheffield. The fire was extinguished by 2am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 2:15am on Hawthorn Grove, Conisbrough, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 2:35am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 2:45am on Harlington Court, Denaby Main, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 2:55am.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate bin fire at 3am on Kingsway, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 3:40am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 3:35am on Doe Royd Crescent, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 4:20am.
