Overnight incidents 25/26 February

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire in Herdings Park, Raeburn Road, Sheffield at 7:45pm. A fire crew from Lowedges station attend the incident. They left at 8:05pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called to a deliberate bin fire on Low Road, Balby, Doncaster at 9:55pm last night. The crew left at 10:10pm.

At 11:55pm firefighters from Rotherham station attended a rubbish fire on Pitt Street, Kimberworth, Rotherham. It was a deliberate fire. The crew left at 12:15am.

Three fire crews from Rotherham, Parkway and Elm Lane stations were called out to a commercial building fire on Centurion Business Park, Bessemer Way, Templeborough, Rotherham at 1:35am. An extraction unit was involved in the fire.  There were no casualties at the incident. It was an accidental fire. The crews left at 2:35am.

Edlington, Rotherham and Dearne fire crews attended a flat fire at 4:20am on Sickleworks Close, Conisbrough, Doncaster. Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus searched the flat but no one was inside. The crews left the scene at 6am. An investigation will take place to determine the cause of the fire.
