A VW Golf was deliberately set on fire at 8pm on Yews Lane, Kendray, Barnsley.  Firefighters from Barnsley station were called to the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

At 4:30am three fire crews from Elm Lane and Central stations were called out to a car fire which had spread to a premise on Wensley Close, Sheffield. Crews used two hose reels to quickly put the fire out.  They left the scene at 5:45am.
