Overnight incidents 26/27 September 2021

Doncaster firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7pm on Thorne Road, Blaxton, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

Three fire crews from Cudworth, Tankersley and Dearne stations attended a premise fire at 7:10pm on Palm Street, Old Town, Barnsley. The fire was accidental and was in the basement involving batteries. The crews left the scene at 7:55pm.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8pm on Zamor Crescent, Thurcroft, Rotherham.  The crew came away at 8:25pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:20pm on Church Street, Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham. The fire crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:25pm on St Lawrence Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 8:40pm.

Two fire crews from Tankersley and Elm Lane stations were called out to a road traffic collision involving two cars at 9:50pm on Upper Wortley Road, Kimberworth, Rotherham. One person was trapped. Firefighters released the man from the vehicle and he was taken to hospital by ambulance crews. Firefighters left the scene at 11:20pm.

A skip was deliberate set on fire at 10pm on Glyn Avenue, Doncaster. Firefighters from Doncaster station attended the incident. They left the scene at 10:35pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 5:55am this morning in the Denaby Main Industrial Estate, Coalpit Road, Old Denaby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 6:25am.

Firefighters from Adwick station were called out to two settees on fire in a field at 6:35am on Red House Lane, Adwick Le Street, Doncaster.  The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 6:50am.
