Overnight incidents 27/28 September 2021

Firefighters from Central station were called out to two sofas on fire in the road at 7:25pm on Acres Hill Lane, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7:40pm.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 8:05pm on Windsor Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 8:35pm.

Two fire crews from Central and Lowedges stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 8:55pm on Abbeydale Road South, Sheffield. A car and van were involved in the incident, with one man trapped. Crews left the scene at 9:05pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 9:05pm on Pitt Street, Mexborough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 9:25pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:25pm on High Hooton Road, Slade Hooton, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

A moped was deliberately set on fire at 12:20am on Fraser Drive, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They came away at 12:40am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 1:45am on Palgrave Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 1:55am.

Four fire crews from Parkway, Aston, Rotherham and Dearne stations were called out to a road traffic collision at 5:10am on the M1 between J33 and J34 northbound. The incident involved a HGV. One casualty was extracted from the vehicle. Crews left the scene at 6:05am.
