Two fire engines are parked up on an area of farm land, on a hill. The weather is dull and it appears to be in the late evening. Two firefighters can be seen in the distance, walking between the two fire engines.

Overnight incidents – 28/01 March

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Huntington Street, Bentley, at 7.06pm. Upon arrival they found a smoke logged house. This was caused by a fireplace being lit with a blocked chimney. This was dealt with by 7.40pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Broom Valley Road, Rotherham, at 2.13am. Upon arrival they found the engine compartment of a Seat Cupra smoking. This was cooled with a hose reel jet and dealt with by 2.42am.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Phoenix Riverside, Templebrough, at 4.06am. Upon arrival they found a car fully involved in fire. This was dealt with by 4.40am and is thought to have been started deliberate. It wasn’t possible to identify the car, which appeared to have been abandoned.
