Overnight incidents 28/29 October 2024

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a fridge (outside) at 8:35pm on Sandhill Road, Rawmarsh, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 9:15pm.

Firefighters from Barnsley station attended an accidental fire involving a chimney at 8:40pm on Bleheim Road, Barnsley. The crew came away at 9:20pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a two car road traffic collision at 9:10pm on Montgomery Road, Sheffield. One casualty was taken to hospital by ambulance. Crews left the scene at 11pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 10:35pm on Beacon Close, Silkstone Common, Barnsley. Firefighters from Barnsley, Tankersely and Penistone attended the incident. They left at 11:20pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving bushes and grassland at 4:25am on Magna Way, Templeborough, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 5am.
