Overnight incidents 3/4 August 2020

Three fire engines from Central and Lowedges stations attended a flat fire at 8:30pm on Abbeydale Road, Sheffield. This was a first floor flat which is believed to be an accidental fire due to candles left burning. There were no reports of any injuries. The crews left at 10:05pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:50pm on Boundary Road, Sheffield. A fire crew from Parkway station were called out to the incident. They left the scene at 9:10pm.

Rotherham firefighters attended a kitchen fire at 9:30pm on Marshall Close, Parkgate, Rotherham. The fire involved a washing machine and was an accidental fire. The crew left at 10pm.

At 10:40pm last night Rotherham station were called out to a small deliberate fire inside a garage on Bower Close, Kimberworth, Rotherham. The crew left at 11:05pm.

A fire crew from Barnsley station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 2:20am on Towngate, Mappelwell, Barnsley.  The crew left at 2:40am.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 2:50am on Old Doncaster Road, Denaby Main, Doncaster. The crew left at 3:20am.

At 2:55am on Lords Head Lane, Warmsworth, Doncaster, Edlington firefighters were called out to a pick up truck which had been deliberately set on fire.  The crew came away at 3:25am.

A Vauxhall Corsa car was deliberately set on fire at 4:05am on Doncaster Road, Thrybergh, Rotherham. A fire crew from Rotherham station attended. They came away at 4:45am.

Conifers were deliberately set on fire on Church Hill, Royston, Barnsley at 4:20am this morning. Stocksbridge firefighters attended the incident. They left the scene at 5:05am.

At 5:45am this morning a fire crew from Barnsley station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Shawfield Road, Carlton, Barnsley. The crew left at 6am.
