Overnight incidents 30 April / 1 May

Firefighters from Askern were called to Suttonfield Road, Doncaster, at 7.22pm. Upon arrival they found a large bonfire involving conifers and rubbish. This was attended to by the land owner, but deemed by the attending crew as too big. The fire was therefore extinguished. This incident was dealt with by 8.23pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Moorgate Road, Moorgate, at 9.06pm. Upon arrival they found one skip well alight. This was extinguished by 9.46pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called to Stripe Road, Hesley, at 11.04pm. Upon arrival they found a Land Rover Discovery well alight. This was extinguished by 11.47pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Canklow Road, Canklow, 3.06am. Upon arrival they found a small rubbish fire which was extinguished by 3.20am. It is thought to have been started deliberately.
