Overnight incidents 31 May to 1 June 2021

Thorne firefighters were called out to a bicycle and rubbish fire at 7:20pm on Station Road, Stainforth, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

At 8pm firefighters from Thorne station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at Station Road, Dunscroft, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8:20pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Dearne stations were called out to deliberate fire involving grassland at 8:15pm on Lundhill Road, Wombwell, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 8:55pm.

Elm Lane firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving garden waste at 8:20pm on Woolley Wood Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire in a skate park at 10:15pm on Midland Road, Royston, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:40pm.

Three fire crews from Adwick and Doncaster stations attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 10:30pm on Stockbridge Lane, Bentley, Doncaster. The crews left the scene at 11:20pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station attended a deliberate fire involving grassland, wood and old machinery at 10:55pm on Wheatley Hall Road, Wheatley, Doncaster. Firefighters left the incident at 11:30pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:30pm on Burying Lane, Hoyland, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 12:15am.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a conifer tree on fire at 11:45pm on Browning Avenue, Balby, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 12am.

Two fire crews from Parkway and Birley Moor station attended a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 3am on Sheffield Road, Woodhouse, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 3:25am.

Rotherham firefighters attended a fire involving a fridge/freezer on wasteland at Princes Street, Masbrough, Rotherham at 3:25am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left the scene at 3:35am.

A car was accidentally on fire at 4:20am on A1M between junction 37 and 36, southbound. Firefighters from Adwick and Edlington stations attended the incident. They came away at 5:05am.
