Overnight incidents 5/6 April

A pile of wood was deliberately set on fire at 8pm on the Dearne Valley Parkway, Darfield, Barnsley. A fire crew from Cudworth station attended the incident. They left at 9:45pm.

At 8pm a fire crew from Dearne station were called out to a rubbish fire on St Barbaras Road, Darfield, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 8:40pm.

Elm Lane firefighters attended a fire on scrubland on South Street, Kimberworth, Rotherham at 8:05pm. The fire is thought to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 8:30pm.

A fire crew from Central station were called out to a garden fire at 8:15pm on Earl The accidental garden fire spread to a tree and fencing. The crew left the scene at 9:05pm.

Another garden fire on Ballifield Rise, Sheffield also spread to conifers and two sheds at 8:40pm. The fire was accidental and the Parkway fire crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

At 8:50pm a fire crew from Elm Lane station attended a deliberate field fire on Creswick Avenue, Sheffield. They left at 9:30pm.

Cudworth firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:05pm on Storrs Mill Lane, Cudworth, Barnsley. The fire crew came away at 9:50pm.

A wheelie bin was accidentally on fire at 9:0pm on Harold Avenue, Lundwood, Barnsley. When firefighters from Barnsley attended they found the fire had spread to the outside of a property. The crew left at 10:10pm.

At 9:25pm a vehicle was deliberately set on fire on Kirkstead Road, Blackburn, Rotherham. The Rotherham fire crew left at 9:45pm.

Tankersley firefighters attended a shed fire on Langley Street, Barugh Green, Barnsley at 9:40pm. When the crew arrived the fire had also spread to a fence. They left at 10:25pm.

Two fire crews from Barnsley and Tankersley stations attended a wheelie bin fire at 11:05pm on Silkstone View, Platts Common, Barnsley. The fire was believed to have started accidentally. The crews left at11:35pm.

A fence and a tree were on fire at 2:35am this morning on John Street, Thurcroft, Rotherham. Maltby firefighters attended the incident. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crew left at 2:50am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a rubbish fire on Robey Street, Sheffield at 2:35am. The fire was thought to be have been started deliberately. The crew left at 2:55am.

Three fire crews from Adwick, Edlington and Dearne stations attended a car on fire in a garage at 4am on Thurnscoe Bridge Lane, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. They left at 5:40am.
