Overnight incidents 5/6 August 2024

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a mattress at 7pm on Dara Street, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:15pm.

A shed was accidentally on fire at 7:35pm on Sheffield Lane, Catcliffe, Rotherham. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:05pm.

Two fire crews from Dearne and Barnsley stations attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 8pm on Cathill Road, Middlecliffe, Barnsley. The crews came away at 8:55pm.

Rotherham and Dearne firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving a derelict outbuilding at 8pm on Cemetery Road, Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham. The crews left the scene at 8:30pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Queen Mary Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Parkway station attended the incident. They left at 8:30pm.

Firefighters from Rivelin station attended an accidental fire involving a kiosk at 8:45pm on Darwin Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:40pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a mattress and household waste at 8:55pm on Buchanan Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:05pm.

Cudworth firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:40pm on Pontefract Road, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9:55pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 11:35pm on Auburn Road, Edlington, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. They left at 12:25am.

Firefighters from Rossington station attended a deliberate car fire at 3:10am on Bankwood Crescent, New Rossington, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 4am.
