Overnight incidents 6/7 August 2024

Firefighters from Askern stations attended a deliberate fire involving tree cuttings at 7:35pm on Selby Road, Askern, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 8:35pm.

Birley firefighters were called out to a road traffic collision involving two cars at 7:55pm on Birley Moor Road, Sheffield. Everyone was already of of the vehicles before firefighters arrived. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

Firefighters from Rotherham station attended a four car road traffic collision on Fitzwilliam Road, Eastwood, Rotherham at 8:55pm. Luckily no one was trapped in the incident. Firefighters left the scene at 9:15pm.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Adwick stations were called out to a car partially into a building at 9:25pm on Ogden Way, Wheatley Hills, Doncaster.  No one was trapped in the incident. Crews came away at 10pm.

Thorne firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:30pm on Waggons Way, Stainforth, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 10:15pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 9:30pm on Cumberland Way, Bolton Upon Dearne, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 10:25pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:55pm on Castledale Grove, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10:20pm.

Lowedges firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving household rubbish at 10:25pm on Hemsworth Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:05pm.

Three fire crews from Doncaster and Thorne stations attended an accidental garage fire at 11:15pm on Heathfield Close, Barnby Dun, Doncaster. The crews came away at 12:25am.

A vehicle was accidentally on fire at 6:45am on the M1 between junctions 36 and 35, southbound. Firefighters from Tankersley and Elm Lane stations attended the incident. They left at 7:35am.
