Overnight incidents 6/7 June 2024

Birley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving grassland at 7:40pm on Longstone Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

Firefighters from Thorne station attended an accidental fire involving bushes and trees at 8:20pm on Broadway, Dunscroft, Doncaster. The crew came away at 8:50pm.

Birley firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 8:25pm on Wingfield Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9:05pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:35pm on Richmond Hall Drive, Sheffield. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

A bin lorry was deliberately set on fire at 11:05pm on Meadow Bank Road, Meadowbank, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 1:45am.

Tankersley station attended a deliberate fire involving a van at 11:50pm on Rockley Avenue, Birdwell, Barnsley. The crew came away at 12:30am.

A skip was deliberately set on fire at 12:10am on Warden Street, Canklow, Rotherham. Firefighters from Maltby station attended the incident. They left at 12:50am.

Three fire crews from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley stations were called out to a premise fire at 3:40am on Redhill Avenue, Kendray, Barnsley. One occupant suffered slight smoke inhalation. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at at 5am.
