Birley firefighters were called out to an accidental van fire at 7:50pm on Grange Road, Beighton, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:40pm.

Saturday 8 June

A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:15am on York Street, Hoyland, Barnsley. Firefighters from Tankersley station attended the incident. They left at 2am.

Three fire crews from Dearne, Adwick and Edlington stations attended a deliberate caravan fire at 3:55pm on Church Street, Mexborough, Doncaster. Firefighters rescued a man from the caravan, who went to hospital. Firefighters came away at 6:05pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving a shed on allotments at Crofton Drive, Bolton upon Dearne, Barnsley at 8:15pm. The crew left the scene at 9:05pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth, Barnsley and Tankersley attended a garage fire at 11:45pm on Arundell Drive, Lundwood, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. Crews left the scene at 1:40am.
