Overnight incidents 7/8 July 2022

Adwick firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving trees and grassland at 7pm on Tudor Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 7:35pm.

Firefighters from Doncaster station attended a deliberate rubbish fire on Green Lane, Woodlands, Doncaster at 7:15pm. The crew came away at 7:55pm.

A fire crew from Barnsley station attended a rubbish fire at 7:40pm on Elmsale, Worsbrough Bridge, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8pm.

Edlington firefighters were called out to a deliberate grass fire at 8:25pm on Horse Shoe Court, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:50pm on Gaunt Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station attended the incident. They left at 11:05pm.

Five fire crews from Central, Parkway, Lowedges and Rotherham stations were called out to a transit van fire which had spread to an outbuilding at 12:35am on Sky Edge Avenue, Sheffield. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Doncaster firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 2:55am on Davis Street, Clifton, Rotherham.  The crew came away at 3:35am.
