Fire crews from Edlington, Doncaster and Adwick attended a house fire in Manor Farm Close at 8.11pm on Saturday night.

The fire started in the tumble dryer, and due to the smoke alarms alerting the residents it was quickly extinguished before it spread any further.

Fire crews left the scene at 8.24pm.
