Friday 5 July

Firefighters from Barnsley, Cudworth and Tankersley  were called out to a premise fire at 7:30pm on Highstone Road, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley. The fire involved the front door area of the premise. There was no one inside at the time of the fire. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Crews left the scene at 8:15pm.

Elm Lane firefighters attended an accidental fire involving a disposable BBQ which set fire to a wheelie bin at 10:50pm on Doe Road Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:25pm.

Saturday 6 July

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 1:05am on Elm Road, Mexborough, Doncaster. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 1:45am.

Two fire crews from Rotherham station were called out to an accidental fire which involved a bonfire spreading to a shed at 2:15pm on Shakespeare Road, Eastwood, Rotherham. The crews came away at 3:40pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a car fire following a road traffic collision at 3:05pm on Bawtry Road, Moorgate, Rotherham. No one was trapped in the vehicle. Crews left the scene at 3:40pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station were called out to an accidental fire involving a garden shed at 4:20pm on Clifton Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 4:50pm.

Fire crews from Central and Birley stations attended a deliberate fire in a bin store at Lupton Walk, Sheffield at 11:40pm. A gas pipe was ruptured due to the fire and occupants from the flats were evacuated as a precaution. A gas engineer attended the incident. Crews left the scene at 1:40am.

Sunday 7 July

A motorbike was accidentally on fire at 2:55pm on Willow Grove, Thorne, Doncaster. Firefighters from Thorne station attended the incident. They left the scene at 3:15pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a deliberate car fire at 4:25pm on Shaftholme Lane, Shaftholme, Doncaster. The crew came away at 5:05pm.
