Overnight incidents 5/6 July 2022

Cudworth firefighters were called out to a deliberate grassland fire at 7:55pm on Fish Dam Lane, Carlton, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Two hay bales were deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Wentworth Road, Swinton, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 9:35pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station attended a deliberate grassland fire at Springwell Lane, Balby, Doncaster at 9:20pm. The crew came away at 9:55pm.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a field fire at 9:30pm on Deightonby Street, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 10:25pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 10:10pm on Alderson Close, Swallownest, Rotherham. Firefighters from Aston station attended the incident. They left at 10:30pm.

Firefighters from Central station were called out to an accidental fire involving rubbish at 10:50pm on Addison Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 11:35pm.

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire at 10:55pm on Hesley Road, Sheffield. Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended the incident. They left at 11:35pm.

Central firefighters were called out to a accidental car fire at 11:05pm on Albert Road, Heeley, Sheffield. The crew came away at 11:35pm.

Firefighters from Cudworth station attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:55pm on Hunningley Lane, Stairfoot, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 12:15am.

Two fire crews from Central station attended an accidental fire involving plastic sheeting at 12:45am on Solly Street, Sheffield. The crews left the scene at 1:10am.

Aston firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 2:10am on Leicester Road, Dinnington, Rotherham. The crew came away at 2:30am.
