Weekend incidents 6/8 December

A vehicle was deliberately set on fire on Friday evening at 8:15pm on Cantilope Crescent, Aston, Rotherham. Aston station went out to the incident before leaving the scene at 8:45pm.

A Vauxhall Vectra was set on fire at 11:25pm on Friday on Woodhouse Green Road, Fishlake, Doncaster.  Firefighters from Thorne were called out to it.  They used a hose reel to put the fire out which had been deliberately set on fire, before leaving at 12:20am.

At 4:30am on Saturday morning Cudworth station attended a shed fire on Church Street, Royston, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally in a wheelie bin and then spread to the shed.  The crew left at 5:30am.

Three fire engines from Rotherham, Maltby and Dearne were called out a single storey building on Tickhill Road, Balby, Doncaster at 10:50am on Saturday. The building which was part of a car wash is thought to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 12:20pm.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a car fire on Nottingham Cliff, Sheffield at 6:05pm on Saturday afternoon. It was an accidental fire. Firefighters left at 7pm.

At 7:30pm on Saturday evening Doncaster station were called out to a car fire on Thoresby Avenue, Belle Vue, Doncaster. This was a deliberate fire. The crew left at 8:05pm.

Cudworth station attended a moped which had been deliberately set on fire on Albert Street, Cudworth, Barnsley at 9:10pm on Saturday evening. Firefighters left the scene at 9:40pm.

An outbuilding was on fire at 9:15pm on Saturday on Broomhouse Lane, Edlington, Doncaster. Edlington Station attended the fire which is thought to have started accidentally due to an electrical fault. The crew left the scene at 9:50pm.
