Six fire engines were called to a large fire at an industrial building on Retford Road in Woodhouse Mill, Rotherham at 1:40pm on Thursday afternoon.

Fire crews from Doncaster, Rotherham, Central and Mansfield Road attended the incident.  All employees had already been safely evacuated.  A silo of wood chippings was on fire, crews used hose reels to bring the fire under control.

Firefighters left the scene at around 7pm.
