Four fire engines have been tackling a house blaze on Leighton Road, Sheffield.
The fire broke out in the loft space of one of the properties at around 9.15am on Wednesday morning and spread through the roof void, affecting three further adjacent properties.
After initial fears that people may be trapped inside, everyone was quickly accounted for and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus put out the blaze.
Fire engines from Birley Moor, Parkway and Central fire stations plus a turntable ladder tackled the incident.
The Red Cross fire victim support unit is providing assistance to residents who have been displaced by the fire.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
