Firefighters from Doncaster, Adwick, Askern and Thorne – as well as a command support team from Central – were called to a barn fire at 1.48am this morning (Thursday 9 May).

Upon arrival they found the building, which measured around 40m by 15m, well alight.

Firefighters spent two hours tackling the blaze before damping down. A fire investigation into the cause of the fire is set to take place today.
