Overnight incidents – 11/12 May

Firefighters from Edlington were called to a railway tunnel on Garden Lane, Cadeby, at 8.04pm. Upon arrival they found a small camp fire involving dried out branches and undergrowth. This was dealt with by 8.42pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Doncaster were called to Cuckoo Lane, Hatfield, at 9.34pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of tyres and rubbish well alight. This was dealt with by 10.27pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Rotherham were called to Grattan Street, Kimberworth, at 10.32pm. Upon arrival they found a pile of cupboard doors and mattresses well alight on a patch of grass next to the footpath. This was dealt with by 10.51pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Barnsley were called to Springfield Street, Barnsley, at 10.55pm. Upon arrival they found one brassier that had been left unattended. This was issuing a lot of smoke and, due to it being left alone, was extinguished by 11.19pm.
