Overnight incidents 12/13 August

Thorne firefighters were called out to a tree which has been set on fire deliberately at 7:35pm on White lane, Thorne, Doncaster. The crew left at 8:05pm.

A large amount of tyres were deliberately set on fire at 8:30pm on Lordens Hill, Dinnington, Rotherham. Three fire crews from Maltby, Aston and Rotherham station attended the incident. They came away at 9:20pm.

At 8:45pm firefighters from Central station attended an accidental bin fire which was due to a discarded BBQ catching fire after being placed in the bin on Guildford Avenue, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

Birley Moor fire station were called out to a deliberate grass fire at 10:15pm to Challoner Way, Sheffield. The crew came away at 10:40pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 11:15pm on Paper Mill Lane, Tickhill, Doncaster. Maltby firefighters attended the incident. They left at 12:20am.

Edlington firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish fire at 4:50am this morning on Balby Road, Balby, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 5:10am.

At 6:05am this morning Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving commercial waste on Rowms Lane, Swinton, Rotherham. The crew came away at 7:30am.
