Overnight incidents 15/16 July

Firefighters were called to an accidental garden fire in Caine Gardens, Kimberworth, Rotherham at 08:45pm last night (15 July). Rotherham crews extinguished the garden fire and left the scene at 09:06pm.

A number of allotments were on fire in Highfield Park in Maltby, Rotherham at 09:52pm last night. Firefighters from Edlington and Maltby attended. On arrival crews were faced with numerous allotment buildings on fire. Crews left around midnight and deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.

A Skoda Superb had been set alight on Shirehall Road in Sheffield at 11:09pm last night. Elm Lane firefighters were in attendance and left the scene 11:32pm and deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.

A small vehicle was set alight on Hesley Grange in Scholes, Rotherham at 11:50pm last night. One crew from Rotherham attended and left the scene at 01:15am this morning (16 July). They deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.

A Land Rover had been set alight at 01:03am on Wakefield Road in Smithes, Barnsley. Crews left at 01:57am and deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.

On Reeves Way in Armthorpe at 04:06am, crews were called to a small vehicle fire. One car was involved in the incident and firefighters left the scene at 04:31am. They deemed the fire to have been started deliberately.
