Overnight incidents 17/18 August 2022

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving wood chippings and a tree at 7:40pm on Dearne Hall Road, Low Barugh, Barnsley. The crew left the scene at 9pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station attended a fire involving a tree and pallet at 7:45pm on Dove Valley Way, Wombwell, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 8:20pm.

A fire crew from Doncaster station attended a deliberate grass fire at 8:40pm on Frank Road, Bentley, Doncaster. The crew left the scene at 9:10pm.

Maltby firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 8:50pm on Muglet Lane, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew came away at 9:10pm.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 11:15pm on Hoober Field Road, Hoober, Rotherham. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 12am.

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 11:50pm on Moonshine Lane, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 12am.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate vehicle fire at 12:15am on Gaunt Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 1am.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 1:50am on Owston Road, Carcroft, Doncaster. Firefighters from Adwick station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 2:35am.

Parkway firefighters were called out to a deliberate wheelie bin fire at 2:30am on Fretson Road South, Sheffield. The crew came away at 2:50am.
