Overnight incidents 2/3 June 2020

Barnsley firefighters were called out to a small oven fire at a property at Wellgate, Staincross, Barnsley at 8:05pm. Firefighters quickly put the fire out before leaving the scene at 8:40pm. The fire was accidental.

At 8:10pm Dearne firefighters attended a deliberate rubbish on Derwent Way, West Melton, Rotherham. The fire crew came away at 8:50pm.

Grass and a tree were deliberately set on fire at 9:15pm on New Street, Holbrook, Sheffield. Edlington firefighters attended the incident. They came away at 10pm.

Adwick firefighters attended a fire on Windmill Balk Lane, Woodlands, Doncaster at 9:45pm last night. A conifer and rubbish had been deliberately set on fire. The crew left at 10:25pm.

Two fire crews from Stocksbridge and Penistone stations were called out to a deliberate fire including heather and grassland on Mortimer Road, Sheffield at 9:50pm. The crews came away at 1:10am.

At 10pm last night Barnsley firefighters attended a deliberate fire in a garden involving tree cuttings. The crews left the scene at 10:30pm.

A pile of rubbish was deliberately set on fire last night at 10:15pm on New Wortley Road, Masbrough, Rotherham. Dearne firefighters attended the incident. They came away at 11:05pm.

Two garden sheds were on fire last night at 11:20pm on Wesley Avenue, Aston, Rotherham. Two fire crews from Rotherham and Central stations were called out to the incident. It is believed to be an accidental fire started by a faulty light in one of the sheds. The crews left the scene at 12:55am.

A BMW car was deliberately set on fire at 12:10am on Shaftesbury Drive, Hoyland, Barnsley. Tankersely station attended the incident. They left at 12:50am.

A hedge was accidently on fire at 12:15am on Scholes Lane, Scholes, Rotherham. A fire crew from Elm Lane station attended. The crew left at 12:40am.

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a fire on Woodside Walk, Munsbrough, Rotherham at 2:45am this morning. An outhouse, fence and bench were all involved in the fire. Firefighters left at 3:40am.  The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
