Overnight incidents 20/21 January

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 7:20pm on Billingley Drive, Thurnscoe, Barnsley. Firefighters from Cudworth station attended. They left the scene at 8pm.

Firefighters from Dearne station were called out to a car fire on Devon Court, Denaby Main, Doncaster at 7:40pm last night. The car is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew left at 8:15pm.

At 7:55pm Rotherham firefighters attended a rubbish fire on Fenton Road, Kimberworth Park, Rotherham. They left at 8:35pm. It was a deliberate fire.

Dearne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire on Cooperative Street, Goldthorpe, Barnsley at 8:55pm. The crew left at 9:20pm.

Two fire engines from Elm Lane and Parkway attended a road traffic collision at 12:30am on Broughton Lane, Sheffield.  The incident involved two vehicles with one casualty being extricated from a vehicle. The crews left at 1:10am.

Three fire engines from Penistone, Barnsley and Tankersley were called out to a fire at pub/restaurant on Bridge Street, Penistone, Barnsley. Firefighters used two hose reels to put the fire out. An investigation will now take place to determine the cause of the fire. The crews left at 4:35am.

At 2:45am two vehicles were on fire on Grafton Street, Barnsley. Cudworth firefighters attended the incident. They left at 4:50am. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

A car was deliberately set on fire at 2:50am this morning on Columbia Street, Worsbrough Common, Barnsley. Firefighters from Dearne station attended. They left at 3:40am.
