Overnight incidents 21/22 November

Two fire engines from Doncaster station were called to a kitchen fire on Dunniwood Avenue, Bessacarr, Doncaster at 7pm last night. A wood burner had been cleared out with embers placed in a box, which caused the fire.  Firefighters left at 7:30pm.

At 7:45pm Thorne station attended a fire on St James Avenue, Dunsville in Doncaster.  A hedge had been deliberately set on fire. The crew left the scene at 8:15pm.

A van and a car were deliberately set on fire last night at 8:30pm on Mount Vernon Avenue, Worsbrough Common in Barnsley. Firefighters left at 9:45pm.

Rivelin station were called out to a skip fire at 9:30pm last night on Greengate Lane, High Green, Sheffield. They came away at 10pm. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

At 10:20pm Rotherham station attended a rubbish fire on Henley Rise, Thornhill, Rotherham. This was a deliberate fire, with the fire crew leaving the scene at 10:30pm

A fire crew from Dearne station were called out to a bin fire on Chruch Street, Darfield in Barnsley at 11pm. Crews quickly put the fire out which had been started deliberately and left the scene at 11:25pm.
