Overnight incidents – 21/22 September

Firefighters from Tankersley were called to Wilkinson Road, Elsecar, at 9.34pm. Upon arrival they found the rear bumper of a Mercedes van on fire. This was dealt with by 10.07pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Maltby, Edlington and Aston Park were called to Highfield Park, Maltby, at 10.29pm. Upon arrival they found that a number of tyres and pallets that were on fire had spread to a nearby garage – resulting in well developed garage fire. This was dealt with by 11.39pm and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Central were called to Graham Road, Sheffield, at 10.48pm. Upon arrival they found a catering van on fire. This was dealt with by 0.04am and is thought to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters from Adwick were called to Royston Avenue, Bentley, at 1.02am. Upon arrival they found a large industrial wheelie bin well alight. This was dealt with by 1.29am and is thought to have been started deliberately.
