Overnight incidents 27/28 June 2022

Rotherham firefighters were called out to an accidental fire involving conifers at 8pm on Highgate, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

Two skips were deliberately set on fire at 8:10pm on Broomville Street, Swinton, Rotherham. Firefighters from Dearne station attended the incident. They left at 9:35pm.

Firefighters from Parkway station attended an animal rescue at 8:25pm on Station Road, Darnall, Sheffield. A deer was stuck in railing. Firefighters used spreaders to free the animal. The crew left the scene at 8:50pm.

Two fire crews from Dearne and Rotherham stations were called to a kitchen fire at 10:55pm on Sycamore Court, Mexborough, Doncaster.  The fire was accidental and involved a chip pan. The crews came away at 11:35pm.

Elm Lane firefighters attended a deliberate fire involving trees at 1:35am on Parson Cross Park, Buchanan Road, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 2am.

Firefighters from Rotherham station were called to a deliberate shed fire on Meadow Bank Road, Meadowbank, Rotherham at 3.35am.  The crew left the scene at 4:35am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 3:40am on Sheppard Road, Balby, Doncaster. Firefighters from Edlington station attended the incident. The crew left the scene at 3:55am.

Firefighters from Elm Lane station attended a deliberate grass fire at 6:50am on Buchanan Road, Sheffield. The crew came away at 7:05am.
