Overnight incidents 28/29 March 2022

Elm Lane firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 7:15pm on Willow Crescent, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 7:30pm.

Firefighters from Central station attended a deliberate fire involving trees at 7>40pm on Daresbury Place, Sheffield. The crew came away at 8pm.

Birley Moor firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire involving rubbish and wood at 8pm on Moss Way, Sheffield. The crew left the scene at 8:25pm.

A bin was deliberately set on fire at 8:20pm on Birley Lane, Sheffield. Firefighters from Birley Moor station attended the incident. They left at 8:55pm.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended a deliberate grass fire at 8:25pm on Thicket Drive, Maltby, Rotherham. The crew left the scene at 8:45pm.

A van was deliberately set on fire at 8:35pm on Back Lane, Nether Haugh, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 9:25pm.

Thorne firefighters were called out to a deliberate rubbish fire at 9:35pm on Barnsley Road, Moorends, Doncaster. The crew came away at 9:45pm.

Two fire crews from Cudworth and Barnsley stations attended a deliberate fire involving tyres inside a derelict building at 9:35pm on Lund Hill Lane, Royston, Barnsley. The crews left the scene at 10:40pm.

Firefighters from Edlington station were called out to a fire involving rubbish and a tree at 9:50pm on Sheffield Road, Warmsworth, Doncaster. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. The crew came away at 10:10pm.

Two fire crews from Barnsley and Cudworth stations attended a kitchen fire at a premise on Queens Road, Barnsley at 5:15am this morning. A pan had been accidentally left on the hob. Crews left the scene at 5:45am.
