Overnight incidents 5/6 March

Rotherham firefighters were called out to a property on Laudsdale Road, East Herringthorpe, Rotherham at 7:45pm last night. The small fire was in the kitchen and was due to a pan accidentally being left on the hob. Thankfully no-one was injured in the incident. The fire crew left at 8:25pm.

Three fire crews from Dearne, Edlington and Rotherham attended a terraced house on Don View Road, Mexborough, Doncaster at 9:15pm. The fire was in the cellar and is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left 11pm.

At 12:25am three fire engines from Cudworth, Barnsley and Tankersley were called out to a commercial premise on Sheffield Road, Barnsley. The fire is believed to have started accidentally. The crews left the scene at 4am.

A wheelie bin was deliberately set on fire at 1am this morning on Canklow Hill Road, Canklow, Rotherham. Firefighters from Rotherham station attended the incident. They left at 1:15am.

Firefighters from Central station attended two wheelie bins which had been deliberately set on fire at 1:30am on Grimesthorpe Road, Sheffield. The fire crews left the scene at 1:45am.

At 2:40am two wheelie bins were deliberately set on fire on Bressingham Close, Sheffield. Firefighters from Central station were called out to the incident. They left at 3:15am.
